Dance like no one is watching

Dance like no ones watching

If it was the mid to late 80’s and it was Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening, you would find me on a dance floor. If I could manage the Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I would too. We had a lot of raves, and then morning after day dance parties as well, so on public holidays that was a huge thing here….so gross Tuesday morning.

This look is completely me back then, the oversized earrings – which are gorgeous feather earrings by Zaara – and all black with coloured shoes. My Mum used to threaten me with depriving me of new clothes if I did not get over the all black thing, but that never lasted long, she loves meeeeee.

This set by Pixicat is a perfect skirt and mid top, the fabric option is reflective enough to get you all the attention, and the skirt flits just right when you get your groove on. I went over to a club I had seen in search, and it was packed, just enough to get a pic of me getting my dance on. I even added some great particle hand attachments from Coles Corner. If there was such a thing as particles dancing attachments in RL, I would have been the worst offender – glow sticks were boring. I adorned myself also with some great rings from Minimal, I did need to move them around a bit, but they resize so easily in edit, that that was a painless task and so worth the effort.

The side pony was my go to often, and the hair from Exile nailed it, but then so was changing my hairstyle at least 5 times a night, up  down, back front, it all happened… a bit like event shopping in SL by the time I have visited three I have changed so many times I do not know where I started.

The skin I am wearing as an applier is a recentish release by YS&YS, it is the Teresa skin, and the hud is fabulous, as it has moles or freckles and moles and freckles and brow colours and make up, it is an all giving all loving look.

The perfect finish to the look is of course the shoes, with the legwarmers built in. They are texture change warmers, so it is the shoes you pick the colour of when purchasing. They are named Portia, and when I was a teen I loved that name, it is from Merchants of Venice a book we had to read in High School,  so definitely in keeping with the time period of my life, so thank you Fri.day for that blast from the past.
